Hello Patient is hiring a Conversational Designer to shape how our AI agents communicate with patients in real, high-stakes conversations.

In Short

• Design AI behavior in real conversations.
• Improve performance and outcomes based on interaction data.
• Build and refine prompting systems for agent behavior.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams.
• Iterate on existing agent behaviors for better effectiveness.
• Analyze data to identify drop-off points for improvement.
• Establish trust and guide users towards successful outcomes.
• Develop reusable frameworks for various conversation types.
• Collaborate on integrating conversational logic into products.
• Focus on empathy, efficiency, and task completion in designs.

Requirements

• 2+ years in conversation design, UX writing, or related fields.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of human behavior.
• Experience with structured thinking and systems.
• High curiosity and willingness to challenge assumptions.
