Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Crosscheck Capital LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide accounting support due to company growth. The role involves various accounting tasks and supporting the Controller and Director of Finance.

In Short

• Provide accounting support for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts for various entities.
• Calculate and post journal entries and monthly accruals.
• Assist with the production of monthly financial statements.
• Maintain a uniform Chart of Accounts across all entities.
• Track intercompany balances and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with cash flow planning and budgeting.
• Respond to requests from external parties like auditors and banks.
• Enhance accounting procedures and policies.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university.
• 1 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Trust, integrity, and financial ethical standards.
• Detail-oriented with good record-keeping skills.
• Self-motivated to accomplish tasks.
• Able to navigate large volumes of data.
