Overview

The Liability Claims Manager at HDVI will oversee the claims process, ensuring optimal outcomes and excellent service for customers in the commercial trucking insurance sector.

• Manage and direct TPA claim handling for optimal outcomes.
• Analyze complex claims and communicate with TPA partners.
• Participate in claims reviews with internal and external customers.
• Implement strategies to improve file quality and customer service.
• Conduct quality file reviews and hold the team accountable.
• Handle customer escalations and collaborate on solutions.
• Identify training needs for remote adjusters.
• Oversee all aspects of claims including reserving and documentation.
• Ensure claims conform to quality standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Claims Director.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Property & Casualty claims management experience.
• 5+ years handling complex Commercial Auto claims.
• Experience with Pre-litigation claims.
• Ability to lead and empower a team.
• Extensive experience in Commercial Auto coverage areas.
• Advanced litigation claims management experience.
• Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Active P&C Adjusters License strongly preferred.
