Overview

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our US Sales team, responsible for identifying and creating new qualified leads for the sales team.

In Short

  • Achieve/exceed monthly metrics for qualified meetings/opportunities.
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts.
  • Respond to inbound customer leads to create opportunities.
  • Manage and overcome customer objections.
  • Identify business needs for Hazelcast solutions.
  • Liaise with Marketing for events and follow-ups.
  • Utilize CRM and communication tools like Salesforce.
  • Use internet research tools for prospecting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional sales experience.
  • Sales development or related experience in B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in cold calling and deal qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills and goal-oriented.
  • Experience with C-level executives and business leaders.
  • Strong technical aptitude and fast learner.
  • High ethics, integrity, and desire to grow with the organization.
  • Experience in software start-ups preferred.
