Cloud Engineering Team Lead - Remote

Overview

As a leader in our cloud engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, scaling, and managing cloud infrastructure and the app stacks for our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations teams, to ensure our infrastructure, services and applications are optimized to scale and be resilient.

In Short

• Lead a small team of cloud engineers and DBAs.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions on GKE and EKS.
• Collaborate with development teams on cloud-native architectures.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources to meet application requirements.
• Develop and automate infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience as a software developer in Java or Golang.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience leading a team.
