Conflicts Analyst - Remote

Overview

Harbor is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join our dynamic Research & Intelligence (R+I) team. The R+I department provides comprehensive business, competitive, and market intelligence alongside library operations and conflicts expertise to support our clients across functions. In this role, you will be embedded within a prominent international law firm that is implementing a new business intake system using Intapp’s Conflicts and Intake products.

In Short

• Responsible for conflict searches and monitoring requests to conclusion.
• Analyze information from fee-earners in conflict searches.
• Conduct conflict of interest checks and database searches.
• Collate results clearly for clearance.
• Liaise with fee-earners to explain conflicts issues.
• Perform client due diligence in accordance with AML regulations.
• Track clients with special requirements around conflicts.
• Assist in maintaining the firm’s client lists.
• Provide training on conflicts to junior team members.
• Liaise with support departments during the business acceptance process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in conflicts of interest within a law firm.
• Understanding of professional rules and regulations regarding conflicts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Proficient in research and analysis of corporate structures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Skilled in effective communication and collaboration.
• Experience with Intapp Conflicts product is desirable.
• Relevant certifications in compliance or risk management are a plus.
