Conflicts Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Conflicts Analyst supports the firm’s risk management need and new business function by collecting necessary information to perform thorough and accurate conflict of interest checks on lateral attorney hiring and proposed new representations.

In Short

• Analyzes information provided with new matter requests for compliance with firm policies.
• Reviews conflict of interest reports for lateral hires and new firm matters.
• Assists conflicts attorneys with resolution strategies.
• Reviews engagement letters for new clients.
• Ensures compliance with firm policies and risk management concerns.
• Trains new Conflicts Information Specialists and Analysts.
• Participates in testing and development of electronic tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of conflicts of interest issues.
• High level of knowledge related to technical systems in law firms.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
• High level of internet research knowledge.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to master new technology applications.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
