Manager, Project Development - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Project Development will assist in business development for specific eastern U.S. projects, responsible for all phases of solar and energy storage project development.

In Short

• Assist in the planning and execution of business development opportunities.
• Identify and secure renewable power customers and manage the pipeline of prospects.
• Work with Senior Management to develop business opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project viability.
• Participate in due diligence of projects.
• Serve as liaison between project development and financial analysis teams.
• Prepare project budgets and assist in budget reviews.
• Understand permitting requirements for solar projects.
• Negotiate interconnection agreements with utilities.
• Adhere to company policies and business ethics codes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in renewable energy project development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or similar discipline.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in commercial negotiation environments.
• Knowledge of renewable energy market dynamics.
• Track record of closing renewable energy deals.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and diplomatic approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
