Project Development Manager - Remote

Overview

The Project Development Manager will play a key role in Encore Renewable Energy's expanding solar and energy storage development firm, overseeing project development tasks and managing various contractors.

In Short

• Complete project development tasks for solar PV and battery storage projects throughout the US.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Perform fatal flaw/feasibility assessments on new opportunities.
• Manage interconnection process in collaboration with utilities and engineers.
• Interface with local and state authorities for project permits.
• Support business development with bid submittals and proposals.
• Prepare progress reports as projects move through development.
• Manage contractors for permit applications and documentation.
• Tender RFPs for professional services and equipment procurement.
• Assist in developing and negotiating legal contracts.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of renewable energy project development/management experience.
• Experience in Environmental Science, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
• Keen sense for identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ability to travel regionally to various sites.
• Strong desire to work on renewable energy projects.
• Able to self-organize priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated success at building team relationships.
• High degree of emotional intelligence.
