Strategy & Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

Handshake is hiring a Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Office of the CEO. In this role you will be a critical business partner to our CEO in driving efficient and effective business operations, and leading key strategic initiatives that are critical for the business.

In Short

• Support day-to-day operations to set CEO up for success for internal meetings and external engagements
• Work hand-in-hand with C-Suite leaders and cross-functional teams to design and manage business-critical initiatives and operations
• Lead analyses that help inform our short and long-term strategic outlook and decision-making
• Lead cross-functional projects across go-to-market, marketing, and product teams
• Define and manage key company systems and operating processes that help us scale effectively

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, and/or strategy & operations at technology startup
• Exceptional written and verbal communicator, with strong executive presence
• Highly analytical and comfortable with data
• Strategic thinker with ability to speak intelligently about different business models and technology trends
• Excel at working through influence and winning the trust of senior executives
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong bias to action and ability to work quickly in ambiguous environments
• Highly collaborative, willing to do what’s necessary to make the team successful
• Able to work in-person out of our San Francisco office 3 days per week
