Overview

The Purchasing/Buyer Agent plays a key role in supporting a small number of US plants by managing and procuring raw materials and packaging components, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining effective supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Adage, ASSISTics, or SAP.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail in managing purchase orders.
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of market supply trends.
• Proven track record of resolving supply issues efficiently.
