Senior Data Scientist (Applied) - Remote

Overview

Guideline is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Data Science team.

In Short

• Develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models to solve complex business problems.
• Transition models from proof-of-concept to production-ready solutions.
• Review and contribute to codebases, maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
• Work with containerized environments to deploy and monitor ML services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with organizational needs.
• Become a domain expert in key business areas for impactful data-driven solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Data Science or ML Engineering experience (1+ years if you have a PhD).
• Proven track record of deploying ML solutions in production.
• Strong programming skills (Python, C++, Java, or Scala) and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems with cloud platforms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
• Ability to bring up UIs (streamlit, ReactJS) is a plus!
