Overview

As a Medical Assistant - Healthguide, you will be supported by clinical teams in your strengthening of the connection between the patient and their primary care physician/medical practice staff, as well as improving the patient’s health and well-being.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or certified EMT required.
• Bilingual in Korean and English required.
• Empathy and proficiency in motivational interviewing.
• Exceptional conversation and documentation skills.
• Experience with medical terminology and primary care practices.
• Knowledge of social determinants of health.
• Comfort with electronic health records and various software.
• Ability to balance competing priorities while detail-oriented.
• Familiarity with EHR systems like EPIC, Athena, Cerner.
• Ability to work independently as part of a care team.
