The Skilled Nursing Managed Care Claims Specialist is responsible for assisting clients with complex issues related to patient stays, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage and claims processing.

In Short

• Learn and understand the training provided upon onboarding.
• Handle client outreach for patient coverage and claims resolution.
• Maintain a full caseload of approximately 40-50 tickets.
• Respond to client requests promptly, prioritizing time-sensitive cases.
• Collaborate with other team members for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in monthly meetings with the Supervisor.
• Assist in additional cases during downtime.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to HR policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of administrative healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire for continued education.
