Tissue Procurement Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a full-time Tissue Procurement Specialist who will be a key member of the fast-paced Client Services organization, responsible for procuring tissue samples and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency.

In Short

• Communicate with partner laboratories to manage sample requests.
• Resolve order issues and coordinate shipping processes.
• Maintain relationships with laboratory personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Document all communications accurately.
• Input data into Salesforce and LIMS systems.
• Meet performance targets related to case closures.
• Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Work hours may vary based on operational needs.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Travel to Guardant Health offices for training may be required.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in Biological Sciences preferred.
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in healthcare settings required.
• Tissue Sample Procurement experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility regarding working hours is necessary.
• Ability to handle client-facing escalations professionally.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is an asset.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) preferred.
