System Administrator in Smart Energy Startup - Remote

In Short

• You will manage the performance, availability, and security of our software and system landscape.
• You will be the first point of contact for internal technical questions and support tasks for our clients.
• You will collaborate closely with our project management and development teams.
• You will work with exciting technologies like pfSense, OPSI, Proxmox, Bareos, and Ansible.
• You will assist in building and operating distributed cloud architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
• You will ensure high availability of our services, including load balancing and clustering.
• You will support the automation of installation processes in client infrastructures.

Requirements

• Initial professional experience in IT or support of hardware and software.
• A degree as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable field.
• Knowledge in system administration under Linux and Windows Server.
• Experience with virtualization using KVM and scripting (Bash, Powershell).
• Strong teamwork, reliability, flexibility, and high personal commitment.
• Excellent communication skills in German and good English skills.
