Product Owner, Underwriting Tools - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Product Owner, Underwriting Tools to execute on product initiatives that drive operational and financial efficiency. You will define roadmaps, lead prioritization and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that support Gravie’s pricing and underwriting capabilities.

In Short

• Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for pricing-related product investments.
• Drive innovation in delivery of critical pricing changes.
• Establish and track OKRs and KPIs to measure business impact.
• Partner closely with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Define detailed product requirements informed by data and user research.
• Apply Agile methodologies and leverage tools like Jira.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Product Owner or adjacent role.
• 2+ years managing structured prioritization processes.
• Working knowledge of tech systems and infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with underwriting technology or Insurtech is a plus.
• Proficiency with project tracking platforms like Jira.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
