Manager, Product Management - Remote

Overview

Granicus is looking for a skilled Manager, Product Management with deep interest in software and its ability to impact global democracy, citizen engagement, and increased government transparency. This individual will serve as both the internal and external evangelist for the solutions that make that happen.

In Short

• Support a team of world-class engineers, product owners and designers throughout product lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a near-real time picture of concept attainment across 4 scrum teams.
• Lead POs and govD teams in effective program increment planning on a quarterly basis.
• Develop operations excellence to promote health and hygiene of the govD backlogs and releases.
• Facilitate effective cross-functional communications across various teams.
• Manage tradeoffs associated with delivering roadmap concepts and maintaining products.
• Set high expectations related to PO command of the govD tools.
• Lead daily standups across PM and POs for effective roadmap planning.
• Communicate, present, and sell ideas to senior executives.
• Act as a mentor and resource to other Product team members.

Requirements

• 4+ combined years in Product Management.
• Fluency in JIRA and Aha!
• Experience in marketing automation and/or digital engagement platforms is a bonus.
• Ability to build quantitative business cases and financial models.
• Experience with complex, transformational roadmap initiatives.
• Success in delivering high-quality technology products/services in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Excellent organizational and quantitative analytical skills.
• Technical depth to understand and earn respect of engineers.
• Ability to think strategically and expand customer use cases into platform-wide requirements.
