In Short

• This is a remote position. We are considering candidates in Germany, Sweden, Spain, Ireland, and the UK only.
• Lead the Corporate Engineering team and optimize IT operations.
• Drive internal AI strategy and manage corporate security initiatives.
• Enhance visibility of processes and costs to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with SaaS vendors and manage relationships.
• Foster a culture of autonomy and experimentation within teams.
• Conduct coaching and mentoring for team members.
• Participate in team activities and contribute to design documents.
• Engage in technical discussions and decision-making.
• Work Eastern-time oriented hours for collaboration with EMEA teams.

Requirements

• Experience running a software engineering operations team.
• Strong engineering background with cloud provider knowledge.
• Deep experience with corporate IT systems and automation.
• DevOps mindset focused on enablement and automation.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and their safe enterprise use.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Curiosity about software and technology trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Technical background in programming or software engineering is a plus.
• Experience with Grafana Labs OSS projects is beneficial.
