In Short

• This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates in the US (EST only).
• Manage a team of Technical Writers developing documentation for developer audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and other internal and external groups.
• Drive improvements in documentation processes and content strategy.
• Establish best practices within the technical writing team.
• Support a transparent project management process.
• Promote work-life balance and manage conflicting priorities.
• Experience with docs-as-code, Markdown, Git, and project management tools.
• Focus on results while engaging with an international team.
• Advocate for the technical writing discipline with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience leading and writing developer documentation.
• Ability to quickly understand organizational needs.
• Experience managing remote teams across global time zones.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working with the open source community.
• Player/coach mentality for team engagement.
• Experience in prioritizing documentation efforts.
• Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in using project management tools.
• Understanding of technical writing best practices.
