Overview

Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead a MySQL to PostgreSQL migration while ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity, alongside other cloud infrastructure responsibilities.

• Lead MySQL to PostgreSQL migration projects.
• Enhance database replication and high availability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability best practices.
• Contribute to cloud security and performance tuning.
• Support Terraform refactoring and monorepo decomposition.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Database Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL & PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services.
• Proficiency in SQL query optimization.
• Strong knowledge in PostgreSQL architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
