Overview

The Local/Regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) will play a critical role in supporting the growth and operational excellence of the Global Business Services (GBS) team. This role is designed to provide in-depth technical expertise, ensure compliance with local regulations, and maintain high-quality standards in service delivery. The SME will serve as a client-facing representative, reviewing work, onboarding new services, and addressing client inquiries.

  • Provide in-depth technical support to the GBS team.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Review and interpret changes in local rules and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks.
  • Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries.
  • Support the onboarding of new client services.
  • Provide training sessions on local regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate with the GBS team and other SMEs.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base for local regulations.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations related to accounting, payroll, and HR.
  • Experience in quality assurance and compliance.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to conduct training and workshops.
  • Experience in developing SOPs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in client onboarding processes.
  • Proficiency in creating knowledge bases.
  • Ability to manage client expectations effectively.
