Overview

As the HR Assistant Manager/Manager at GoGlobal, you will play a crucial role in overseeing human resources operations for our North America (US, Canada and Puerto Rico) clients. You will be the main point of contact for HR practice, labor legislation and employment matters, responsible for various HR functions, as to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees.

In Short

  • Responsible for HR operations for all external employees in North America.
  • Manage routine HR tasks such as contract drafting and policy creation.
  • Keep up with regulatory changes and new HR technologies.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Serve as an escalation point for employee issues and concerns.
  • Work closely with the onboarding/payroll team for quality assurance.
  • Process payroll-related items and manage benefits.
  • Respond to inquiries on salaries and attendance.
  • Act as an intermediary between client-facing and operations departments.
  • Control costs related to third-party compliance management.

Requirements

  • Experience in HR operations and management.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation and employment law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage onboarding processes effectively.
  • Proficiency in payroll and benefits management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in handling employee relations issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HR technologies and software.
