Software Engineer - Hybrid Model - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer at GoDaddy, you will work in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration, contributing to the development of scalable web applications and services.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services using React JS / Node JS / Ruby (Rails).
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Embrace agile methodologies for continuous release and deployment.
• Contribute to technology working groups and internal open-source projects.
• Build automation for application changes and deployment.
• Collaborate on a high-impact Scrum team.
• Participate in DevOps, release, and on-call activities.
• Monitor and measure engineering and operational metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying production-grade software.
• 3+ recent years with React.js and 2+ years with Node.js.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Beginner-level experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Experience in CI/CD and feature flag/experimentation-driven development.
