Lead Developer - C1 German - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to take responsibility in a dynamic, fast-growing European AI startup, shaping the future of artificial intelligence.

• Lead Senior Developer for a rapidly growing AI startup
• Excellent German skills (minimum B2/C1)
• Proficiency in Python (3+ years) in backend development, APIs, and cloud-native applications
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (preferably Telekom OTC, alternatively AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Good understanding of GDPR compliance and data sovereignty
• 3+ years of leadership experience in technical teams with Scrum/Kanban expertise
• Experience with LangChain for prompting workflows is a plus
• Knowledge of Neo4j or other graph databases for knowledge modeling is a plus
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or prompt engineering is a plus
• Background in multi-agent systems or distributed architectures is a plus

Requirements

• Strong German language skills
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms
• Understanding of GDPR compliance
• Leadership experience
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban
• Knowledge of LangChain, Neo4j, AI/ML frameworks is a plus
