Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, managing full-cycle accounts receivable, overseeing revenue recognition, maintaining the general ledger, and executing month-end close procedures.

In Short

• Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging Report and track customer collections.
• Process and send customer invoices via email or customer portals.
• Update reports related to collection activities and ensure departmental KPIs are met.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare intercompany account reconciliations, consolidations, and eliminations.
• Manage SVB credit card expense review and processing.
• Provide monthly Market Launch Profit and Loss reports to Program Managers and ensure accurate cost adjustments in NetSuite.
• Support the month-end closing process for AR and Market Launch activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Assist in revenue recognition reconciliation against deferred revenue.
• Contribute to year-end close and audit processes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience: 4 or more years of experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable and general accounting.
