Staff Team Member Relations Partner - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a strategic Staff Team Member Relations Partner to provide guidance to managers on complex team member relations issues including performance management, investigations, and policy compliance across GitLab's global organization.

In Short

• Advises and coaches managers on complex Team Member Relations issues.
• Investigates highly sensitive People issues.
• Coaches leaders through delicate and confidential work issues.
• Creates proactive programs to prevent workplace issues.
• Partners with Legal and PBP on Team Member Relations cases.
• Provides input on policies across GitLab.
• Provides trend data to reduce organizational risk.
• Reviews policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Acts as a subject matter expert for management coaching.
• Leads strategic initiatives and partners with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of employee relations experience.
• Experience engaging with Works Councils/unions.
• Experience supporting a remote workforce.
• Strong analytical and data skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize projects and strategic goals.
• Must exercise confidentiality in sensitive matters.
• Experience supporting EMEA team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Ability to interface with stakeholders effectively.
