Overview

GitLab is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer (LXD) to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you'll leverage your strong instructional design and technical expertise to create engaging, outcome-driven learning experiences for our global customer base.

In Short

• Design and develop high-quality educational content, including instructor-led and digital courses.
• Review courses and recommend improvements to enhance learning offerings.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to align content with business goals.
• Contribute to technical systems that support scalable training programs.
• Assist in developing certification and accreditation exam content.
• Continuously improve content based on feedback and new product features.
• Stay informed on GitLab's latest features to ensure content accuracy.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in instructional design or technical training.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
• Proficient with eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.
• Skills in graphic design or multimedia development.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and eLearning standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing curriculum for large enterprise audiences.
