Professional Services Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Engage with customers to provide installation, migration, training, and advisory services.
• Handle installations from single-node to large reference architectures.
• Interface with customers and GitLab Product/Engineering teams.
• Deliver on SOW with guidance from technical architects.
• Provide technical training sessions remotely and/or on-site.
• Document implementation, guides, and maintenance relevant to customer requirements.
• Support engagement managers on quoting and scoping of SOWs.
• Contribute to documentation/scripts for implementation and workflow.
• Self-motivated and self-managing with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization.

Requirements

• Professional exposure with IaC/CaC technologies like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience using, deploying, or configuring GitLab.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple customer engagements.
• Effective communication skills and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to advise on GitLab recommendations.
• Shares GitLab values and works in accordance with those values.
• ~20% travel may be required.
