Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

Gigamon’s FP&A team is seeking an energetic and collaborative Financial Analyst to join our growing organization. This hybrid role is based in our Chennai office and provides flexibility with a mix of remote and onsite work. The role will report to the Senior FP&A Manager who is based in our US headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. The team is highly analytical, business-focused, and integral to Gigamon’s financial success, supporting key strategic initiatives and driving data-informed decision-making across the company. This is an individual contributor (IC) role that offers opportunities to interact with management and directly impact the company’s financial health and strategic growth by providing actionable insights to leadership.

In Short

• Support the monthly close process in concert with accounting counterparts.
• Prepare headcount and expense reporting, reconciliations and forecasting.
• Prepare monthly budget variance reports.
• Create and maintain standard financial reports in the financial planning tool and prepare monthly expense and functional metrics packages, including creating data visualization, for internal management.
• Collaborate on quarterly Board of Directors presentations and key business metrics reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve financial processes.
• Upload and reconcile data from the G/L to the financial planning tool.

Requirements

• B.S. in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a financial planning and analysis role, ideally for a multinational corporation.
• Expertise in excel/data modeling, data mining, and financial presentation creation.
• Familiarity with Adaptive Insights (or similar financial planning tool), Microsoft Dynamics 365, Snowflake and Tableau is highly desirable.
• An analytical thinker with a proven ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
