Senior Product Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

Built is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to partner with our Data Platform and Application teams and drive forward Built’s suite of customer-facing data products. In this role, you will use advanced analytical techniques to uncover insights and enable data-driven decision-making across our diverse client base and inside our organization. You will contribute to product roadmaps and own development of advanced data products including benchmarking, forecasting, and recommendations. You will work closely with data engineers, product managers, and business leaders to ensure our data products are robust, scalable, and impactful for our customers.

In Short

• Develop and optimize data models and pipelines to support customer-facing analytics and internal decision-making.
• Build self-service tools, dashboards, and visualizations to empower end users and internal stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Partner with data engineers to ensure models are secure, performant, and scalable.
• Provide thought leadership on data science best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through written and visual storytelling.

Requirements

• BA in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, including experience in product analytics or similar domains.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and statistical tools/libraries such as NumPy, or Pandas.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling techniques, and A/B testing.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or Looker.
• Proven ability to share outcomes through written and verbal communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
