Senior Embedded Developer - Remote

Overview

Geotab is seeking a Senior Embedded Developer who will maintain and improve testing tools and processes, ensuring that new releases perform as expected.

In Short

• Design, write, and test C and embedded RTOS firmware systems.
• Collaborate with other developers and engineers.
• Perform firmware development and architectural input.
• Write unit tests and conduct integration testing.
• Debug firmware issues and improve code.
• Keep documentation up-to-date.
• Occasional international travel required.

Requirements

• Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 - 8+ years of experience in embedded firmware and hardware development.
• Experience with Wireless products.
• Experience in mobile development.
• Test Automation experience.
• Microcontroller Design experience.
• Knowledge of firmware build-chains.
• Understanding of electronics for firmware development.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Strong communication skills.
