Geotab is a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, seeking a Business Analyst with a strong focus on FinOps to enhance cloud cost efficiency and financial performance.

• Analyze cloud spending to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
• Utilize data-driven insights to improve cloud efficiency.
• Lead data analysis of cloud expenditure to identify trends and anomalies.
• Identify cost optimization strategies and implement FinOps best practices.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for cloud spending trends.
• Provide strategic reports with recommendations to drive cloud value realization.
• Collaborate across teams for accurate cloud cost forecasts and budgets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and cost management.
• Proven experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of cloud billing models.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with public cloud financial tools.
• FinOps or Cloud Service Provider certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
