Overview

The HR Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, ensuring accuracy, organization, and positive employee experience.

• Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS data.
• Prepare routine HR reports and assist with audits.
• Assist with onboarding logistics and new hire documentation.
• Manage payroll activities and employee inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain I-9 documentation.
• Support general HR operations and administrative tasks.
• Track leave of absence and workers’ compensation documentation.
• Organize HR files and support document management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as Paylocity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience supporting onboarding and employee documentation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
