Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative with a strong background in the food service industry to join our team. This role involves outbound prospecting to connect with restaurant groups, institutional kitchens, and food service distributors.

In Short

  • Own outbound prospecting into targeted food service accounts.
  • Build pipeline through cold calls, emails, and internal reports.
  • Research accounts and tailor messaging to operational problems.
  • Book qualified meetings and set up clean handoffs to operations.
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and follow-ups in a CRM.
  • Use CRM and sales tools to run an organized, repeatable process.
  • Take coaching seriously and apply feedback quickly.
  • Food service experience strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years outbound BDR/SDR experience required.
  • Hands-on CRM experience daily (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).

Requirements

  • Experience selling into or working within the food service industry.
  • Strong outbound sales skills with a disciplined approach.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a consistent pipeline.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain meeting generation strategies.
  • Willingness to be coached and improve continuously.
  • Ownership of results and a focus on doing the job correctly.
