Overview

The Technical Instructional System Designer will drive the training development and ensure successful implementation of high-impact learning solutions within GM's Human Resources group.

• Design and develop training material using various instructional design techniques.
• Analyze end user requirements for training in line with business objectives.
• Create and implement instructor materials and course catalogs.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and incorporate feedback into the development cycle.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts for content validation.
• Facilitate the delivery of educational programming.
• Deliver technical training topics to diverse audiences.
• Utilize tools like Articulate, Vyond, and Camtasia for training development.
• Strong communication skills across global audiences.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum four years of experience in course development or e-learning.
• Expertise in various training delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and graphic design software.
• Portfolio demonstrating understanding of ADDIE and SAM models.
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Instructional Design preferred.
