The AV Safety Strategy and Assessment team is seeking a technical leader with extensive experience in the full end to end development lifecycle for artificial intelligence & machine learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic team environment.

In Short

Remote position based anywhere in the United States.
Lead the AI Safety strategy for autonomous driving systems.
Train and enhance machine learning models.
Prototype new AI solutions, including Generative AI.
Provide safety guidance to engineering teams.
Assess safety of existing production models.
Collaborate with partners and customers on safety strategies.
Perform testing and validation of data sets.
Utilize statistical methods to solve complex business problems.
Document and maintain structured data methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
10 years of experience in machine learning, engineering, or data science.
Extensive experience with programming languages like Python, R, Java.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with data engineering and cloud platforms.
Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven track record in technical leadership in AI/ML.
Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models is a plus.
Experience leading a team of data scientists preferred.
