Overview

The AV Safety Strategy and Assessment team is seeking a technical leader with extensive experience in the full end to end development lifecycle for artificial intelligence & machine learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic team environment.

In Short

  • Remote position based anywhere in the United States.
  • Lead the AI Safety strategy for autonomous driving systems.
  • Train and enhance machine learning models.
  • Prototype new AI solutions, including Generative AI.
  • Provide safety guidance to engineering teams.
  • Assess safety of existing production models.
  • Collaborate with partners and customers on safety strategies.
  • Perform testing and validation of data sets.
  • Utilize statistical methods to solve complex business problems.
  • Document and maintain structured data methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in machine learning, engineering, or data science.
  • Extensive experience with programming languages like Python, R, Java.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data engineering and cloud platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record in technical leadership in AI/ML.
  • Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models is a plus.
  • Experience leading a team of data scientists preferred.
