Overview

The Lead Technician will be responsible for the fabrication, integration, and mechanical/electrical support of GM Defense Prototype Vehicles and other Defense Projects, working onsite on a full-time basis.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of automotive technician and fabrication experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with machine shop fabrication equipment.
  • Technical coursework or relevant experience required.
  • Strong mechanical and automotive skills.
  • Proficient in welding (MIG and TIG) and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Skilled in manual machining and shop equipment operation.
  • Ability to lead projects and work in teams.
  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident).
