Overview

The Engineering Development team at Milford’s Energy Labs is looking for test technicians to contribute to the future of ICE and EV vehicle testing, focusing on outdoor chassis dynamometers.

In Short

• Work on-site in Milford, MI.
• Perform vehicle verification and certification preparation.
• Troubleshoot production vehicle issues.
• Create automated calibration tests.
• Verify diagnostic trouble codes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams.
• Document lab tasks and results.
• Engage with non-intrusive driving robots.
• Setup and troubleshoot test automation systems.
• Evaluate testing data and recommend actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certificate.
• 2 years of experience in automotive testing.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle legally.
• Experience with chassis dynamometer testing preferred.
• Knowledge of test automation systems.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn and share knowledge.
• Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
