Finance Associate - Remote

Overview

The Finance Associate is responsible for all accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks. This individual will also assist with other finance department responsibilities including financial accounting and reporting, treasury management, customer invoicing, vendor management, corporate insurance, and general corporate communications (internal and external). Additionally, this individual will coordinate with Business Development and Operations department on communication regarding customer requests and invoicing.

In Short

• Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner and track customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Input and processing of Accounts Payable vendors and bills
• Obtain revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds
• Record and process incoming payments into SAP BYD and apply payments to corresponding invoices
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues by working closely with customers
• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable ledger
• Follow up on overdue accounts
• Address billing inquiries and maintain positive customer relationships
• Work with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve issues
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university and two to three years of related experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel in particular)
• Proficiency in SAP Business ByDesign (Byd) is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail
