Senior Associate, Compliance (Investigations) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Associate, Compliance (Investigations) will work with the Compliance Team at Gemini to execute critical components of the BSA/AML and Sanctions Compliance program, focusing on blockchain investigations and regulatory reporting.

• Conduct complex blockchain investigations to identify potential financial crimes.
• Draft and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Conduct customer outreach for additional information.
• Leverage device intelligence and open-source research.
• Assist in developing ongoing training for the compliance team.

• Stay current with industry developments and regulations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or international equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant AML-related experience, with 3 years in blockchain investigations.
• Advanced blockchain analytics and tracing skills.
• Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and experience with SAR filings.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent writing skills for synthesizing information.
• Experience collaborating with law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to work independently.
• Authorization to work in the United States and fluency in English.
