Overview

Gemini is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Gemini Credit Card team as a Credit and Fraud Risk Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit card risk management while working in the fast-evolving cryptocurrency and fintech space.

In Short

• Conduct data-driven analysis to develop and refine fraud detection strategies.
• Support real-time risk monitoring by identifying suspicious transaction patterns.
• Assist in testing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify emerging fraud trends.
• Contribute to the development of new fraud detection rules.
• Support credit risk-related initiatives and portfolio monitoring.
• Generate post-implementation reports to evaluate fraud prevention strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management strategies.
• Communicate insights and recommendations across teams.
• Participate in a 10-week internship program starting in June.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel, including functions such as XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Interest in credit card risk and fraud detection.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
