Overview

This position is for an Application Support Engineer at Gemini, a leading crypto and Web3 platform. The role involves providing technical support to customers and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance the Gemini platform.

In Short

  • Provide technical support services to institutional and retail customers.
  • Investigate application issues and communicate with development teams.
  • Gather client requirements and write specifications for features.
  • Maintain and deploy API documentation.
  • Assist retail support teams with operational tools.
  • Articulate issues to customers effectively.
  • Assist in onboarding FIX and Web API customers.
  • Provide second level support to sales teams.
  • Create operational and monitoring tools for customer support.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical support role in Financial Services Technology.
  • Deep understanding of FIX protocol and network connectivity.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Unix systems.
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
