Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist to support anti-fraud activities at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, working with a team to develop and maintain models and algorithms for fraud detection.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Statistics or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in statistical and computer science fields.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience in healthcare Fraud, Waste and Abuse analytics.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage and mentor analytics teams.
• Expertise in healthcare coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
• Experience with AWS and Snowflake is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
