Overview

As a Cybersecurity Lead (ISSO) at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Veterans Benefits Administration by ensuring the security of sensitive data and compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations.

• Lead security efforts for the Unified Claims Acceleration Platform (UCAP).
• Manage the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
• At least 3 years as an ISSO or security lead.
• Deep knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RMF and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Familiarity with cloud security (preferably AWS).
• CISSP, CISM, or CAP certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a thorough Government background screening.
