Staff Data Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Lead the engineers on the Health Intelligence team.
• Build and maintain high quality data systems.
• Implement algorithms to improve provider rankings data.
• Partner with engineers to define coding standards.
• Drive the technical strategy for maintainable software.
• Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or distributed Software Engineering.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Mastery of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like Apache Spark.
• Experience managing pipeline workflows with tools such as Airflow.
• Experience with analytical solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Experience leading Data Engineers on big data initiatives.
• Preferred experience with data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Preferred experience with Kubernetes and data visualization tools.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $220,000 - $240,000.
