• Develop next-generation technologies for fulfilling customer orders.
• Work on Python-based ORM and applications that scale for millions of transactions.
• Collaborate in an international environment on different layers of infrastructure.
• Own definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST and GraphQL).
• Implement solutions to complex business logic for financials, orders, and shipments.
• Build reusable components and packages.
• Translate specs and user stories into reviewable, test-covered patches.
• Peer review and refactor code.
• Integrate with eCommerce and shipping partners.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker-based global deployment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django.
• Experience with SQL and databases (Postgres preferred).
• Experience in developing large server-side applications and microservices.
• Ability to create high-quality code.
• Experience with Python testing tools (pytest) and test automation.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git.
• Strong sense of ownership and leadership qualities.
• Experience with Python, Celery, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/Software Company.
• Experience with Google Cloud, Heroku, etc.
• Cloud deployment and scaling experience.
