Overview

The Senior Technical Support Engineer, MI – I (Tier 1) provides highly visible remote technical support across our product lines for HCUS customers, focusing on complex issues and second level support.

In Short

  • Remote troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues for Synapse products.
  • Work with 3rd party hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Utilize FUJIFILM knowledge resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with peers on complex technical issues.
  • Document cases throughout troubleshooting processes.
  • Follow escalation processes for unresolved issues.
  • Handle incoming customer calls and document interactions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and work outside normal hours as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Adhere to quality and regulatory compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Certifications in relevant technical background preferred (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco).
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, networking, SQL Server, Oracle.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of Synapse workflows and clinical data transfer protocols (HL7, DICOM).
