Overview

The Insurance Customer Support Representative at DXC Technology is responsible for providing exceptional customer service via inbound contact center calls, assisting clients with complex inquiries, and ensuring accurate account management.

In Short

  • Provide service via inbound contact center calls.
  • Respond to complex customer inquiries and escalate as necessary.
  • Perform account updates and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail for multiple clients.
  • Support escalation and resource calls for customer service issues.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced staff.
  • Ensure compliance with FINRA regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Work independently and follow directions effectively.
  • May require shift work during business hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience with help desk software and telephone technology.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 certification required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
