Overview

The Information Security Consultant (vCISO) will support client organizations in solving complex information security challenges, acting as an advisor to Executive and Organizational Leadership.

In Short

• Operate as a virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) for clients.
• Manage a portfolio of up to 20 clients.
• Develop security remediation plans and policies.
• Educate clients on information security principles.
• Conduct security assessments and document findings.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in information security.
• Work full-time with flexible scheduling.
• Limited travel required (4-6 times per year).
• Salary range between $105,000 - $137,000 per year.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Information Security.
• Previous experience as a vCISO or Security Consultant.
• CISSP certification required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate clients.
• Experience with risk assessments and security policy creation.
• Self-motivated with a proactive learning approach.
• Understanding of information security foundations.
• Comfort in discussing security gaps with clients.
• Proven track record in consulting on security practices.
